This policy explains what happens to information about you when you visit jingdawire.com. It is written to be read, not to be scrolled past. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.

In this policy, “Jingda”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the company identified above. Jingda operates the website jingdawire.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers ordinary use of the website: browsing, cookies, analytics, and the contact, quotation and datasheet forms.
Applications to become a distributor or trading partner are covered by a separate, more detailed notice, because those forms collect company documents. See the Applicant Privacy Notice.
3. What we collect
Information you give us. When you send an enquiry, request a quotation or download a datasheet, we receive what you type into the form: your name, company, e-mail address, telephone number, country, and the content of your message. Only the fields marked with an asterisk are required.
Information collected automatically. Our server records the IP address a request came from, the date and time, the pages requested, and the browser and device type. This is ordinary web-server logging and is used for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies. See section 4. We do not set analytics or advertising cookies until you allow them.
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive personal data. Please do not send us identity documents, health information, or anything similar through this website.
4. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file your browser stores. Some are needed for the site to work at all; the rest are optional and only run if you say yes.
When you first arrive, a short banner asks for your choice. Until you accept, Google Analytics and Google Ads are switched off through Google Consent Mode — they load but are not permitted to store anything on your device. You can change your mind at any time: open your cookie settings.
We keep a record of your choice. So that we can show, if we are ever asked, that consent was given or refused, we store one record each time you choose. It contains the date and time, a random identifier, what you chose, the page you were on, your browser’s user-agent string, the language of the page, and your IP address with the last part removed (for example 203.0.113.0). We do not store your full IP address in that record. These records are kept for 24 months and then deleted automatically.

Blocking cookies in your browser will not stop you from using this website. Nothing on jingdawire.com requires an optional cookie.
5. Why we use your information, and our legal basis

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.
6. Who can see your information
Enquiries are seen by a small number of people at Jingda — the sales and technical staff who can actually answer them.
Outside the company, only our service providers are involved, and only as far as their service requires: our website hosting provider, our e-mail delivery provider, and Google for the analytics and advertising tools described in section 4.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not disclose it to other customers, except where we are legally required to do so or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
7. Where your information goes
Jingda is established in the People’s Republic of China. Information you send us is transferred to and processed in China, and is also processed on our web server, which is located in the United States.
For visitors in the EEA and the UK: China has not received an adequacy decision from the European Commission or the UK government. Where we transfer your personal data to China, we rely on Article 49(1)(b) GDPR — the transfer is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract — and, where applicable, on your explicit consent under Article 49(1)(a), given after being informed of the risks. Those risks include the fact that Chinese law provides different, and in some respects narrower, protections and remedies for personal data than EU or UK law, and that Chinese public authorities may in certain circumstances have rights of access to data held in China.
For visitors elsewhere: the same transfer takes place, and is made either because it is necessary for the steps you have asked us to take, or with the consent you give when you submit a form.
8. How long we keep it
Enquiries, quotation requests and datasheet requests are deleted 24 months after our last exchange with you, unless they have become part of a commercial relationship, in which case the contract and order records are kept separately under our normal commercial record-keeping arrangements.
Web-server logs are kept for a short operational period and then overwritten. Cookie lifetimes are listed in section 4. Records of your cookie choice are kept for 24 months, as described in section 4.
You may ask us to delete your enquiry earlier at any time, using the contact details in section 11.
9. How we protect your information
The whole site runs over HTTPS. Administrator accounts are protected by two-factor authentication. Files submitted through our forms are stored outside the publicly reachable part of the server and are not given public web addresses. Access inside the company is limited to the people who need it.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affects your personal data in a way that is likely to create a risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights over your personal data:
- Access — to be told what we hold about you, and to receive a copy.
- Rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Erasure — to have your data deleted where there is no longer a valid reason for us to keep it.
- Restriction — to ask us to limit how we use your data while a question about it is resolved.
- Objection — to object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Portability — to receive data you gave us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Withdrawal of consent — at any time, wherever we rely on consent.
- No automated decisions — we do not make decisions about you by automated means.
Visitors in Mexico hold the ARCO rights (Acceso, Rectificación, Cancelación, Oposición), together with the right to limit the use or disclosure of your data and to revoke your consent, in accordance with the LFPDPPP.
Visitors in Brazil hold the rights set out in Article 18 of the LGPD, including confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation or deletion, portability, information about data sharing, and revocation of consent.
11. How to exercise your rights
Write to ejingda@jingda.cn with the subject line “Data Protection Request”, telling us which right you wish to exercise. We will respond within one month. If your request is complex we may extend this, and we will tell you if we do. We do not charge for responding, unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. We may ask you to confirm your identity, so that we do not disclose your data to someone else.
12. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first so that we have the chance to put it right. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority:
- EEA — the data protection authority of the country where you live or work.
- United Kingdom — the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
- Mexico — the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, which took over private-sector data protection supervision under the LFPDPPP reform published on 20 March 2025 (previously INAI).
- Brazil — the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD).
- Japan — the Personal Information Protection Commission (PPC).
- South Korea — the Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC).
- Thailand — the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
- Malaysia — the Personal Data Protection Commissioner (JPDP).
- Vietnam — the Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05), Ministry of Public Security.
13. Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
