Enamelled copper-clad aluminum wire is a new type of magnetic wire using copper-clad aluminum material as the inner conductor, which characteristics between copper and aluminium, combining copper’s excellent conductivity and aluminium’s light weight advantages.

The thickness of the copper cladding can be customized with different volume ratios, including 10% (copper-to-aluminum weight ratio of 3:7), 15% (copper-to-aluminum weight ratio of 4:6), and 40% (copper-to-aluminum weight ratio of 7:3). 

Most customers in the current market opt for a 15% copper volume ratio, which balances cost reduction with performance that closely matches pure copper wire.
