Litz Wire

What is litz wire?

Litz wire is a specialized type of wire made by twisting/braiding multiple insulated strands together.

In high-frequency circuits, conventional conductors are prone to the skin effect and proximity effect, increasing resistance and degrading performance. However, the Litz wire that twisted the structure of fine strands effectively distributes the current, reducing resistance and minimizing losses at high frequencies, thus improving overall performance.
